Revisit Past Dramas
Chris Brown X Tour: Manila7/29/2015 I'm new to attending concerts by any artist, but I've always wanted to attend one. When I had my first I thought that the next one would be spaced far in between. I certainly wasn't expecting to be attending 3 (and it's only been 7 months into the year); and for a concert novice that could be overwhelming. I certainly enjoyed my first 2. That's why when my seatmate from work asked me to come to a Chris Brown concert if ever he comes to the country, I readily said yes. Little did I know that in just a few months time he would indeed come to the Philippines as part of the X Tour.
I like Chris Brown, but I'm not a super fangirl, though I have to admit I listened to the whole album 1 month before the concert just so. I heard one girl, tell her friend that she had to google the lyrics of his songs just a few hours prior to making her way to the MOA Arena So there I was, in my 3rd concert for the year. I even had to ask my boss for a shift change just to get ready. I almost forgot to bring the ticket for the event. I just bought the sitting section of the ticket. I figured I don't wanna wait for a concert to start standing up; it was a mistake of course, I wasn't able to enjoy the show even if it was a good one. Plus, the show started 5 minutes before it was supposed to start. Chris Brown sang songs from his latest album X, and some of his old songs. He danced a lot during the show. Honestly, I feel like one of the reasons why it felt like the show was not enough was there's a lot of times where he wasn't singing. I mean, he did a lot of really really good dancing and some if not most of the times he wasn't really singing. H e would either just walk around the stage or dance. It was fine though, I mean he had sick moves. There wasn't really much curtain calls so he was visible on stage all the time. There wasn't much costume change I mean there needn't be since he just decided to go topless. So, looking back, concert starting on time, topless Chris Brown, Chris Brown showcasing sick moves, Chris Brown singing some of his best songs, and spotting famous people after the concert. Not a bad day, for me.

Unleashed 57/4/2015 I've never been to a rave party outside the company's events, so naturally when one of my coworkers, a veteran party goer, invited me to go to Unleashed 5 i know i have to go. I mean known local DJs are going to the event and it would be a shame not to hear these people play. The only problem was, it was a wet party and I do hate getting wet. I decided to go in the end, of course, besides I have nothing else to do with my life.
So with some of my coworkers, we headed off to Megatent in Libis. Some of the tracks that the featured DJs played were versions of tracks from international DJs. It was fine of course, we know how hard it would be if these people released their own album. There were foam machines, which kinda reminds me of soap suds, they smell like Bonux detergent. There are also fire trucks, which is where I dragged my coworker to rinse off the soap suds we have on our body. Syempre, kapag naglaba ka magbanlaw ka na din... What made the party better was the fact that it also rained hard, twice. I could totally feel the wet party vibe when it started raining. As there were drinks on the venue itself being sold, one girl got so drunk she took off her blouse and starting dancing with just her bra on. After the party, we went to the nearby Eastwood City, to eat at Something Fishy, since they have this amazing breakfast buffet. I arrived home at 6 am, and as of this writing I still haven't gotten any sleep. It was truly an awesome experience for me and I will be looking forward to more events like this. Which would probably be next week, since I am going to our company's event in Raven. Authoraprovechar el día. Archives
